CLASSES RANGING FROM

Beginner to Advanced

We have beginner, intermediate and advanced members participating together in all classes. The workout is the same in all classes on a given day, and the workout is modified or progressed to meet the unique needs & ability level of each individual member. In both classes and private training sessions, our coaches only encourage you to do practice movements and use weights that are safe for you.

Private Training

55-minute session for 1-2 people

Similar to our small-group training classes, private training provides a fun and encouraging, yet more intimate environment for training. We use primarily kettlebells and our own bodyweight to increase strength and improve cardiovascular conditioning, balance, coordination, mobility and flexibility WHILE SHEDDING BODY FAT!

Private training allows for a more individualized approach with the trainer’s attention focused 100% on YOU the entire session. Private training is suitable for individuals recovering from serious injuries/surgeries who need more specialized care, or for those who simply don’t like working out in groups with other people. Private training is also a great option for people who want to further develop skills either not practiced in classes (such as olympic lifting and barbell front squatting) or who would like to dedicate more practice than we have time for in classes for movements such as pull-ups….I want every lady who walks through my doors to be able to achieve at least one unassisted full range of motion chin-up or pull-up!!!

These 55-minute private sessions include: a 5-minute mobility warm-up, about 10-15 minutes of heavier strength training for upper body, lower body, and core, and about 10-15 minutes of fat-burning “cardio” conditioning with kettlebells! We conclude the session with about 10 minutes of meditative stretching at the end of the workout to bring our nervous system back into a more restful, parasympathetic state after ramping it up into a sympathetic state during the workout. Ages 13-85 are welcome in classes (contact Gianna for questions or concerns) and Gianna will adapt the intensity of every exercise to your skill level, so not only will you feel safe and confident with every movement, you will thrive!

Small-Group Classes

55-minute classes for up to 14 people

Small group classes provide fun, encouraging community AND allow for more focused and personalized attention from the coach. We use primarily kettlebells and our own bodyweight to increase strength and improve cardiovascular conditioning, balance, coordination, mobility and flexibility WHILE SHEDDING BODY FAT!

*Since the global coronavirus pandemic forever changed life as we knew it – and since Gianna wholeheartedly understands life’s natural shifts and strongly values flexibility and freedom, there are no contracts. 8-class packs last 8 weeks and unlimited classes are month-to-month, with free cancelation during business hours before you would be automatically charged the 1st of the month.

Body Fat Measurements

Gianna offers skinfold body fat measurements to determine and track changes in body composition. This is an important measurement, as the scale does not tell the story. For example, during the three-week challenges we run three times per year, many ladies will lose 7 pounds of fat and gain up to 5 pounds of muscle. The scale only shows that 2 pounds were lost (which often feels discouraging, and like “all that work was for nothing”), when in fact, a HUGE transformation has occurred! So, while the scale does provide valuable data, it does not tell the full story, yet we place so much of our worth and happiness in the hands of that lifeless tool.

Nutrition Guidance

Nutrition guidance is given upon request when signing up for either small group classes or private training. Gianna will not provide you with a personalized meal plan, but she can provide you with a basic nutrition guide optimized for losing body fat while maintaining muscle mass (with regular strength training, of course). More advanced nutritional strategies can be offered too, if desired and appropriate.
